Scuppernongs are large, thick skinned grapes that grow in loose clusters. Muscadine and scuppernongs have a tarter taste than Concord Grapes, with a delicious Musky taste. I like the Blue Ridge jams and jellies because they are so honest -- not a lot of unnecessary ingredients or taste gimmickry. The only reason I give the Scuppernong jelly a 4 and not a 5 is that I don't get quite as much of the Scuppernong taste as I would like, but I haven't found it at all in any other product that my allergy diet will allow, so I am very glad to have it.
