We use whole pieces of wild huckleberries. The fruit contents will break down into smaller "jam" sized chunks during the cooking process.
Wild Huckleberry Jam is made from the freshest wild huckleberries, cooked to perfection into a delicious robust jam. Huckleberry, the most prized of all wild berries, are plump, purple berries that grow WILD in the Mountains, and are handpicked. Most "southerns" often call a Wild Huckleberry a Wild Blueberry. Wild Huckleberries are smaller than a cultivated Blueberry, with a more intensive taste.
