Questions and Answers
*Please Note: This product does contain the pieces of real fruit including any seeds. Due to the size of this berry, the product can be considered a jam or a preserve. We use the whole Black Raspberry during the cooking process, which breaks down into a spreadable consistency like a jam.
Black Raspberry Preserves are made with pure cane sugar, succulent black raspberries, and are carefully hand-stirred in open stainless steel pans to produce a wonderful gourmet flavor. A old fashioned black raspberry preserve is made from large or whole pieces of black raspberries and are cooked to the point where the fruit is suspended. The texture of the black raspberry preserves are not as smooth as jelly, but has the "meat" of the fruit included.
